Karen Wood-Maris
VP RevOps and Head of Customer Experience and SLT member
SoftBank Robotics America
K. G. Wood-Maris is VP of Revenue Operations and Customer Experience for SoftBank Robotics America. She has responsibility for revenue growth and designing programs that allow companies to develop digital maturity via robotics, data, and AI. She was previously a leader in Strategy and Transformation consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, IBM, and Accenture. She believes that revenue growth is a result of successful customer adoption and productive use of technology & services. Adoption happens when real work is transformed. This requires application of Enterprise Change Management principles, which when harmonized across the organization can accelerate adoption, increase user engagement, and improve the user experience. This becomes a virtuous cycle that can impact business outcomes including: providing product development with specific new user capabilities that are tied to work transformation, product differentiation, and accretive revenue; increasing employee satisfaction because they can better align with clear metrics and customer value on what Great looks like; and creating cohesive messaging on customer value across the organization that ties Sales and Operations together. She is a published author on corporate dynamics and had a top ranked book on Amazon.
